Position Summary

The Livingstone College Department of Social Work invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor tenure track beginning August 16, 2014. This candidate will possess a Master's degree in Social Work (Ph.D. preferred) and hold membership with a professional social work organization. He/She will have 3 years of college or university level teaching experience. The applicant will teach various courses at the undergraduate level.

  • Teach in areas of research, gerontology, and social work practice for the BSW program
  • Utilize innovative teaching techniques in the instructional setting
  • Use technology to enhance student learning
  • Advise and register students
  • Curriculum and program development
  • Active research and publishing
  • Provide university service and community engagement
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/ Experience
