Customized Programs Specialist - temporary

Status: Temporary Full-time, non-exempt
Schedule: M-F, 8.30a.m. 4.30p.m, including working beyond core office hours as required by the needs of the position and department
Reports to: Assistant Director, Customized Programs

Summary of position:

In conjunction with the Customized Programs team and Center staff, the Customized Programs Specialist collaborates, coordinates, and communicates with various stakeholders on vital program administration including: student communication; roster and predeparture upload and maintenance; and post-program administration.

Essential Job Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Proactively and reactively communicate with students from a portfolio of programs
  • Upload student rosters and process student registration and online forms
  • Maintain and assign program forms as well as adjust document and enrollment statuses appropriately
  • Customize and edit program/destination-specific pre-departure guides
  • Manage the student program evaluation process
  • Create budgets using internal software as needed

Experience & Qualifications/Skills:

  • 2+ years' experience in administrative role
  • Dedication to high quality client services
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment
  • Strong team player, yet able to work independently
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and to meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills, with the capacity to maintain accurate records
  • Strong oral and written skills with the ability to communicate well with various constituents
  • Extremely strong interpersonal skills
  • Maintains a positive can-do attitude even during stressful situations
  • Takes responsibility for actions, results and mistakes
  • Act in a professional manner at all times
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment when handling a variety of issues
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong self-direction and initiative skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Reader, and CRM software
  • Drupal skills preferred

Education Licenses and/or Certifications etc.:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
