Our dynamic team of professionals step up to the plate to deliver innovative ideas and a results-driven approach in an effort to move the needle for our client brands. In addition to leading our clients’ digital PR strategies, you’ll have the opportunity to lead and develop a small team of people, as well. As aDigital Public Relations Account Manager, you will draw upon your technology PR expertise to serve your client roster well, grow incremental revenue from existing clients while participating/leading sales and marketing presentations to prospective clients.

What You Will Do

Account Management and Development
  • Fully own the client relationship and lifecycle
  • Serve as the account lead for multiple key client relationships, providing a high level of service to support long-term account health
  • Lead client strategy development, execution and measurement
  • Optimize staff hours on client work for profitability
  • Lead account team’s daily, weekly and monthly functions and deliverables, ensuring we deliver a high quality client work product on deadline
  • Oversee the client work product from media relations, content and social media team members with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude when client needs require additional contributions
  • Pitch and contribute to client media coverage goals in order to ensure we are achieving and/or surpassing client KPIs
  • Build and maintain strong media relationships in order to strengthen the capabilities and competence of Tech Image
  • Use process tools (Basecamp) to improve project management and communications

Staff Management and Development
  • May directly or indirectly supervise a number of individuals; responsible for performance management of direct reports
  • Ensure team engagement and commitment to Tech Image business objectives
  • Lead cohesion and alignment across client teams and drive digital PR best practices across all agency workflows
  • Foster an open and inclusive agency culture, where diversity thrives

Business Development
  • Grow revenue from existing clients via direct selling of incremental service offerings and programs
  • Leverage own professional network and follow industry news and trends to originate new business leads
  • Research, prepare and participate in/lead new business pitch meetings

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or other related field
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience, to include PR/marketing/communications agency experience
  • You have experience pitching business and consumer stories to traditional and non-traditional media outlets
  • You have experience with social media platforms and their use for audience engagement to support media relations strategy.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PR/marketing/communications agency experience with client work in software, technology, construction, consumer/fitness and/or power tools
  • Expert in AP style writing
  • Familiarity with Cision, TechNews, Trendkite and other digital PR tools
  • Proficiency with basic computer programming, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
