Director of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management

Penn State Berks is seeking a Director of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management who will be responsible for leadership of the College's student life and enrollment management programs including admissions, student aid, retention initiatives, residence life, inter-collegiate athletics (NCAA Division III, club sports and intramurals), health and counseling services and support of special student populations including multi-cultural, veterans, international, commuters, at-risk and LGBT. This position will successfully collaborate with all units of the college to ensure that enrollment goals are achieved, that a vibrant, educationally purposeful co-curricular experience is offered and that quality services are provided to ensure student success. Penn State Berks is a four-year college of the Pennsylvania State University with 2800 students offering 25 four-and two-year degrees that can be completed at the college, and the first two years of 160 Penn State baccalaureate degrees. Penn State Berks offers the advantages of small college teaching with the readily available resources of a major research university, and is easily accessible to Philadelphia, New York City, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C. Typically requires a Master's degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 3. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. The successful candidate must demonstrate the following: knowledge, and leadership experience in the above or related areas of responsibility; ability to manage multiple work units; excellent judgment, organizational and supervisory skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; an outstanding customer service orientation; and a commitment to fostering diversity and student engagement.
