HR Technology Specialist

Responsible for providing solutions and services that optimizes the use of technology. Serve as primary contact for technology initiatives including report writing, web content, and administrative software. As a member of the HR team, s/he is responsible for building and maintaining positive working relationships with team members, internal customers and external vendors.

Reporting: Utilize HR systems for reports and audits. Produce custom and standard reports for HR and other college offices. Responsible completing IPEDS, AAUP, AAP and other surveys. Support and maintain databases used by HR including the HRBAR reporting system. Design and test information feeds to outside vendors.

Web Administration: Maintain the HR website, including benefits, employment, development and forms pages. Work with HR staff to ensure that the website information is current and site navigation functions smoothly. Monitor pages for proper functioning; identify and implement additions to the service and functionality of the site. Provide training and technical support to HR as necessary.

Systems Support: Oversee day to day operations of Banner System within the Human Resource functionality, as the college moves to a new technology. Maintain appropriate documentation for the procedures used in administering the HR technology. Assists with the implementation of business processes and technologies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills: Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; strong attention to detail and accuracy; strong quantitative skills; good judgment, discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality; ability to interact with diverse constituencies; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; ability to work on a team and independently; competent project management skills: strong computer skills, preferably MS Office Suite; advanced skills with integrated database technology, Excel, Access and COGNOS; advanced web content design skills.
