Marketing Analyst/Content Coordinator

Summary of position:

A member of the Marketing Department, the Marketing Analyst / Content Coordinator is responsible for search engine optimization (research and implementation) and on-going analytic reporting and analysis of department-wide initiatives. The Marketing Analyst / Content Coordinator will mine and visualize data to tell a strategic story, sharing key takeaways, insights, and optimization recommendations that reflect performance, impact, and future opportunities for improvement.

Experience & Qualifications/Skills:

  • 1-3 years of experience required
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail and deadlines
  • Ability to interpret large amounts of data
  • Proven writing and editing skills
  • Time-management and multitasking skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Basic understanding of SEO guidelines and marketing best practices
  • Knowledge and experience with keyword research and backlink analysis tools.
  • Knowledge and experience with Google products, particularly Google Analytics and Search Console. Google Analytics Certification preferred but not required
  • Web crawler knowledge and experience required
  • Ability to derive SEO strategy based on keyword research findings or competitor analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Previous content management system experience preferred

Education, Licenses and/or Certifications etc:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management, Marketing, Communications, related field, or equivalent work experience
