Schedule: Primarily part-time evening hours at Grove City, Bolton Field, and South-Western Career Academy. Staff necessary for site coverage at the Delaware Campus and Regional Learning Centers. Hours are primarily evenings after 3:00 PM, but may also be scheduled during the day.

Job Description: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty listed below. Reasonable accommodations will be made for persons with disabilities, covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act, in accordance with its requirements.

Duties are numbered for convenience, and do not indicate order in terms of importance, frequency that the duty is performed, or the amount of time spent on the duty.

1) Prepares site for instruction, makes room assignments, and obtains equipment (i.e. pens, markers, paper, etc.) and technology (i.e. projectors, computers, etc.) as needed by faculty, students or staff.

2) Understands and explains the application, admission, enrollment, and financial aid process. Provides information on programs of study and next steps for enrollment, including admission criteria, documents needed, financial aid, orientation, placement testing, advising, course selection, registration, and fee payment. Provides information about campus services and resources, student life, and opportunities for campus involvement.

3) Assists testing services offered at the center; including, but not limited to Compass Placement, English as a Second Language, Developmental Education, Distance Learning, and Certificate and Licensure testing.

4) Supports programs by coordinating activities, maintaining campus knowledge through email, newsletters, flyers and other forms of communications, maintaining records and confidentiality, and performing other related tasks.

5) Provides customer service, greets individuals, answers telephone, responds to questions, and provides other areas of assistance as needed.

6) Supports services offered at the location (i.e. advising, testing center, open computer labs, tutoring, student activities, etc.) and performs preventative maintenance on equipment.

7) Advises students on academic pathways, course selection, prerequisites and offerings in person, via phone, e-mail or other delivery formats as needed.

8) Explains educational program options and assists students with developing a plan for degree and/or goal completion.

9) Maintains confidentiality of student records and other confidential or sensitive information.

10) Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as needed to meet workload demands.

11) Performs other related duties as required.

Usual Physical Demands: The incumbent of this position typically exhibits the physical demands identified in the Functional Job Analysis on file in the College's Human Resources Department and which is periodically reviewed and updated. Physical demands listed in the Functional Job Analysis are not job qualification standards, but are used to help the College assess and determine reasonable accommodations for otherwise qualified individuals covered by the American's with Disabilities Act.

While performing duties of this job, the employee regularly exhibits digital dexterity when entering data into computer. The employee regularly sits for extended periods of time, and occasionally stands and walks. The employee occasionally reaches with hands or arms and stoops, kneels, crouches or crawls when delivering materials and preparing classrooms. Employee converses verbally with others in person and by telephone. Vision demands include close, relatively detailed vision when focusing on a computer screen. Employee occasionally lifts or exerts force of up to 25 pounds when transporting instructional materials and presentation equipment.

Working Conditions: Normal office working conditions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of: assigned regional learning center administrative functions; standard office practices and procedures; project management; computer software, programs and applications. Skill in: verbal and written communications; operation of general office equipment; maintaining good public relations; customer service; application of relevant software programs including word processing and spreadsheets. Ability to: work independently demonstrating initiative; develop and maintain effective working relationships with associates, supervisors, College partners, and general public; originate correspondence; maintain confidential and sensitive information; maintain accurate and complete work records; work effectively with persons of varying cultures and diversity.

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s).
