Schedule: Works morning, mid-day, evening, possible weekends, and other odd hours as assigned.

Job Description:

1) Greet each customer and provide an excellent customer service experience.

2) Conduct sale transactions at a cash register. Maintain a balanced drawer at the register.

3) Assist customers in locating product.

4) Works within the Bookstore team to ensure product is represented on the sales floor.

5)Assists with the retail floor recovery and stocks books or merchandise.

6) Works in web order department, tech and supplies center, or apparel department as determined.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Performs other duties as required to meet workload demands.

Normal retail working conditions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of: standard retail practices and operations and customer service. Ability to: provide excellent customer service, maintain punctual attendance, handle money at a cash register, support stocking and merchandising, and occasionally lift upwards of 50 lbs. Skill in: friendly interpersonal communication and exceeding the expectations of customers.

Minimum qualifications: Applicants must be at least 16 years of age. Must have reliable transportation or other means to get to work regularly.
