Job Summary
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Multi-Campus Programs, the Coordinator of Distance Education and Digital Accessibility collaborates with the Dean of Teaching Excellence and Academic Resources to ensure consistent instructional design in online courses across academic disciplines and serves as the College’s lead on distance education-related committees. They implement theory and research processes and provide training specific to the design, development, and implementation of accessible learning and web published materials.
Job Duties
• Collaborate with the Dean of Teaching Excellence and Academic Resources to ensure consistent instructional design in online courses across academic disciplines.
• Implement theory and research processes to design, develop, and implement accessible learning materials and digital content that meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 levels A and AA and Section 508 Standards.

Collaborate with the Center for Teaching and Learning team as appropriate to develop training materials to provide professional development opportunities for faculty.

Design instructional management systems as appropriate. Create educational podcasts, videos, and content as assigned.
• Guide new Internet and hybrid course proposals through the approval process, maintaining the Internet and hybrid course inventories and development manuals. Work with faculty and others to identify program-specific student learning outcomes to align content, activities, and assessments to the identified outcomes. Research new innovations in both learning design and education to provide professional development opportunities to faculty.
• Complete required annual processes to support the College’s participation in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA). Track SACSCOC substantive change and compliance for alternative delivery and off-campus course offerings. Evaluate new eLearning materials.

The Assistant Coordinator of the Academic Success Center is a full-time, 12-month position, located at the Jimmy Naifeh Center in Covington, TN.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Manage the Academic Success Center during open lab times at the JNC, including maintaining student files and security related to testing, tutoring, and data associated with the ASC JNC.</li>
<li>Occasionally travel to alternate DSCC locations for meetings and training.</li>
<li>Work daily with the ASC Director on tutoring, open lab schedules, Accuplacer workshops, and test prep instructions.</li>

This is a full-time, academic year, tenure-track faculty position reporting to the Dean of Arts, Sciences, &amp; Technologies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Teach 24 hours (TLE) per academic year in Health Information Technology online lectures and labs. The Program Coordinator will receive 6 hours of release time per academic year to perform administrative duties related to Health Information Management.</li>

Job Summary
Provide online, classroom, and lab instruction in competencies for Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education students in alignment with the course objectives promoting early childhood development in teaching and learning.




Job Duties:
• Provide IEC instruction online, in the classroom &amp; laboratory settings. • Ensure IEC course objectives are met and documented as well as observation hours. • Demonstrate current knowledge required by the curriculum for IEC based on the Associate level students through in-person or virtual lectures every week. • Provide hands-on instruction and demonstration to IEC students in a group setting in person and online. • Work collaboratively with faculty &amp; staff to provide education, evaluation &amp; supervision to students. • Complete required professional development training required of adjunct faculty. • Other duties as assigned. 




Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in IECE or Elementary Education OR • Associate degree or higher in an education discipline and 5 years demonstrated early childhood education work experience &nbsp;




Preferred Qualifications:
• MASTER'S DEGREE OR HIGHER IN ANY AREA WITH AT LEAST 18 GRADUATE HOURS IN AN INTERDISCIPLINARY EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION RELATED DISCIPLINE

Job Summary
Supervise college-wide maintenance, janitorial and security staff. Manage operations and projects in these areas through efficient work procedures and processes. Provide and track required and critical safety training for all staff. Ensure facilities safety and compliance in conjunction with System Office Environmental and Safety Department. Serve as a point of contact for a variety of internal and external stakeholders including vendors, contractors, local police departments, KCTCS and college leadership. Manage MOA agreements with local law enforcement.




Job Duties:
-Supervise all maintenance/janitorial, security and swichboard staff. Develop and implement effective work procedures, schedules and evaluate work performance of these personnel. -Plans and manages supply inventories in conjunction with maintenance supervisors, including parts and supplies needed for proper preventative maintenance. -Coordinates workorders in conjunction with maintenance supervisors and switchboard (vehicle scheduling) ensuring completion. -Provides and documents required and critical safety training for all staff, maintains Safety Data Sheets, acts as liaison with Sytem Office on safety related issues, and oversees safety of facilities including safety walk-throughs and follow up actions including necessary reporting. -Oversee major campus projects in conjunction with System Office Facilities staff. -Oversees Security, including MOA agreements with local law enforcement, drill (fire, tornado, active shooter, etc.) effectiveness, training needs, and reporting (accident/injury, crime log, incident log).




Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree and 3 to 4 years of experience.&nbsp;
