The Operations Intern is a two year commitment, renewable after the first year at the discretion of the athletics department. This is not a formal Graduate Assistantship through the UK Graduate School, however, this position will include a combination of tuition waiver and monthly stipend not to exceed a pre-determined allocation. Extra consideration will be given to qualified in-state applicants. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Sports Management or related field. Written documentation of admission to the UK Graduate School in Sports Leadership or other departmental approved graduate programs. Must be willing to work long hours including nights, weekends and holidays in addition to weekly office hours scheduled around University classes. Working all home football games is mandatory.
