Job Summary
ECTC is seeking an Admissions Coordinator II to serve as a receptionist for the college in the area of student services and provides quality customer service to current and prospective students. Assist students and other stakeholders by answering or forwarding questions to the correct departments. 




Job Duties:
• Serves as a receptionist – greets visitors, answers the phones, emails and texts, distributes mail, etc. • Assists walk-in students with resolving issues such as PeopleSoft, Blackboard, class problems, etc. • Assists walk-in students with Applying, Setting Up Accounts, creating necessary testing tickets, and managing flow to the next step. • Assist walk-in students with scheduling appointments for advisors. • Assist walk-in students to make sure the admission file is complete and get students to the Enrollment Specialist. • Coordinates new applicant calls with application status – Assign out to work study. • Coordinates and assigns advisors for new and returning students. • Supervises 1-2 work-study positions. • Performs general clerical and support duties such as data entry, preparing correspondence, copying, creating reports, filing, etc. • Assist with registration. • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Associate’s Degree (related field) and one-year related work experience, or equivalent.&nbsp;

Dyersburg State Community College invites applicants for Orientation adjunct instructors for day, evening, and online classes held in Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, or at one of our other off-campus centers. Initial assignment may be at one of our teaching locations, but the official work station assignment may change each semester. The successful applicant will become certified and fully use the course management system (eLearn) for all classes. The applicant will also attend required meetings, report attendance, early alert notifications, and final grades prior to the established deadline, and will communicate curriculum and personnel needs or changes as appropriate to their assigned chair/dean. This position reports to the Chair of Language, Arts &amp; First Year Experience and the Dean of Arts, Sciences, &amp; Technologies.
Requirements of the Position
Duties and Responsibilities: Teach assigned courses for discipline in Covington, Dyersburg, and/or Paris; prepare course materials; evaluate student learning, maintain class records, and submit required reports on time.
Working Conditions: Sedentary: Desk work; occasional travel may be required for college or program activities. Insignificant effort other than normal movement.&nbsp; Minimal Hazard/Exposure: Standard office settings. At least minimal environmental controls to assure health and comfort.
Required Qualifications: Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate semester hours in Orientation/ College Success.
Ability to communicate effectively with students and other college personnel required.&nbsp;
