We are primarily looking to hire a person who can provide bacterial molecular biology support and analyze the mouse immune system for several ongoing projects in the lab that are focused on the immune-cell-microbiome interaction.&nbsp; The person ideally should have at least one year of research experience and be proficient in performing immune cell analysis and molecular biology techniques such as multi-color flow cytometry, mouse dissection, bacterial culture, and genetic modification of bacteria. This is a one year term position with an option for renewal based on funding.Position Description<ul><li>Cloning and culturing of human-associated bacteria</li><li>Isolation of immune cells from the gut, skin and spleen of mice</li><li>Analysis and sorting of immune cells using multi-color flow cytometry</li><li>Plan and perform experiments in support of research projects in lab and/or field based on knowledge of scientific theory.
