In this role, the incumbent is responsible for the administrative management of research compliance of the activities of the IRB, IACUC and IBC. Title: Police Officer
POSITION SUMMARY Under general supervision, performs all duties of a Police Officer, including enforcing applicable laws, ordinances, policies and procedures. Patrols the campus by foot, bicycle or motor vehicle.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/ JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Protects life and property of the general public within the jurisdiction of the Nashville State Community College Police Department. Responds and takes the lead in atypical situations and emergencies, until relieved by higher authority. Reports incidents involving persons or property, reporting likely cause of accidents, pursuing appropriate course of action and informing proper authorities as required. Cooperates with other law enforcement officials and jurisdictions and testifies in court or legal proceedings as required. Operates and maintains safety and security department equipment. Keeps records and makes reports. Makes recommendations to the Chief of Police on the development and implementation of comprehensive security programs, policies and procedures. Serves as liaison with contract security company and officers. Provide guidance in coordination with Chief of Police for the contract security officers. Responds to requests for assistance, such as jump-starting cars, unlocking doors, giving directions, etc., from students, faculty and staff. Maintains all training to ensure P.O.S.T certification is current.

SUMMARY
The Industrial Maintenance and Automation Instructor shall be directly responsible to the institution administration for effective performance of assigned responsibilities and duties. The instructor shall observe rules, policies, and regulations set forth by the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Shelbyville (TCAT), Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR), and the Council of Occupational Education (COE); and shall strive to promote and elevate the mission and philosophy of occupational education within the areas served. Job Duties:
Serves as an Advocate/Recruiter for the Western Region Migrant Education Service Center. This position is grant funded through September 2025; continued employment is contingent upon the continuation of the grant • Assists in the development and implementation of operating policies and procedures for enrollment, student records, and the student information system. • Serves as the liaison among institutional stakeholder groups such as school personnel, community agencies and program participants, providing registration information and representing the interests of the program and program participants. • Provides English classes and GED options to Out-of-School youth, college/career counseling to in-school participants and tutoring services as needed. • Assists director with facilitation of the grant, program, or project through recruitment efforts of eligible migrant children within the target region. • Develops and maintains excellent relationships with services agencies and other referral organizations within the assigned region. • Interprets, explains, and facilitates participation to all potentially eligible families in the purpose of the Migrant Education Program. • Conducts ID&amp;R training and workshops for new staff in the region. • Other duties as needed.
