Dyersburg State Community College invites applications for nursing adjunct instructors for day and evening classes held in Dyersburg, Covington, and Paris. Includes both clinical setting and lecture.

Duties and Responsibilities:

​Teach assigned courses for discipline in Covington, Dyersburg, and/or Paris; prepare course materials; evaluate student learning and maintain class records. Initial Assignment may be on or two of our teaching locations but your official work station assignment may change each semester.  Become certified in and fully use the course management system for all classes. In particular, accurate attendance reporting is expected.

Working Conditions:

Sedentary: Desk work; occasional travel may be required for college or program activities. Insignificant effort other than normal movement. Minimal Hazard/Exposure: Standard office settings. At least minimal environmental controls to assure health and comfort.

Required Qualifications:

​Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate semester hours in Nursing.

Ability to communicate effectively with students and other college personnel required.
