Job Summary

This adjunct RN instructor position is a temporary, part-time position used to fill classroom vacancies as needed: days, evenings, weekends and/or online.

Job Duties:

The adjunct positions provide instruction and familiarize students with in the specific areas of study. The more technical positions provide students with the background, knowledge and basic skills needed to function effectively on the job. Preferred candidates would be able to teach at various levels to help support their programs. Candidates should be energetic, enthusiastic and have an in depth understanding of the principles in their discipline or field.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree (Nursing, Nurse Aid) with 2 years of related work experience or an Associate's Degree with 4 years of related work experience (Clinical Laboratory Technology), in the teaching discipline with demonstrated competencies required. Licensure is required. Experience using Blackboard (or a similar learning management system as a delivery method for classes) is recommended.
