Job Summary
The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment: Department of Dietetics and Human Nutrition is currently seeking a Departmental Success Specialist to provide general administrative support for the unit. This position encompasses a multifaceted role involving the daily operation of the departmental business office. From managing the front desk and greeting visitors to maintaining calendars and assisting with event planning, this role demands meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. Responsibilities also extend to financial and business operations, involving record-keeping, deposit processing, procurement, and adherence to university accounting regulations.
Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, demonstrate advanced knowledge of MS Office applications with significant experience with word processing and spreadsheet development. Previous work experience managing multiple shared calendars, demonstrated track record of excellent organizational skills and the capacity to work independently are preferred.
This position has direct contact with faculty, staff, and students and is not eligible for remote/hybrid work arrangements.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Advanced knowledge of MS office applications with significant experience with word processing
and spreadsheet development, ability to follow directions and interpret departmental policies and
procedures, database management, exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and
communications skills.
