Job Summary
Big Sandy Community and Technical College is seeking an Adult Education Specialists II to provide contextualized, academic instruction to adult education students. Adult Education Specialists II must be able to provide instruction in literacy, adult basic education, English language acquisition, and workforce preparation. This position will also require the recruitment of students to outreach centers within the service region.
This is a grant funded position.
Job Duties:
- Instruct students in Adult education.
- Instruct students in English Language acquisition.
- Maintain student records, attend staff meetings, complete required professional development, and recruit students.
- Interact and communicate with data/assessment specialist and career navigator to monitor progress of students.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and one year related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and three year related work experience.
