Job Summary

The Alternative Transportation Manager at the University of Kentucky will be the catalyst behind creating a car-free/car-lite culture for our students, employees, and larger community. This person will have a high degree of autonomy to create initiatives and propose infrastructure that will make biking, walking, riding transit, and other forms of micro mobility not only a viable option, but the desirable option to get to, from, and around campus, while also supporting our successful legacy programs and initiatives. UK is a Gold level Bicycle Friendly University and is seeking the candidate that has the vision and initiative to take us to Platinum, while also embodying values of sustainable transportation that this position is designed to promote. The successful candidate should be a strategic thinker with a long-term view, with great communication skills and demonstrated leadership abilities.
