As the assistant director of enrollment, your job will be to build relationships with applicants as they navigate the admission and enrollment process while handling a large volume of daily communications from parents/guardians and school counselors. You will assist students in preparing their applications, portfolios, and financial aid for review; congratulate accepted students; maintain the data management system; and manage a schedule via Calendly.

Responsibilities include participating in webinars and online chat sessions to reach students, supporting Live Agent shifts, participating in special events such as SCAD Days, and occasionally serving as the Saturday admission representative. In this position, you must remain knowledgeable of university policies and procedures to communicate accurate information about the university to encourage campus visits during which you will meet with the applicants and their families. You will also prepare students for enrollment and travel to support off-campus events.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, organization, and time management skills
  • Must work well under pressure and be able to shift focus quickly with a positive attitude
  • Must be able to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs

Certificates, licenses, and registrations:

  • Valid driver’s license

Travel Required:

  • 10% to 20%

Work Hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
