Position Announcement: 

The Department of Counseling at the University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) is seeking a tenure-track assistant professor or associate professor to join a growing and energetic Counseling Department team beginning the 2025-2026 academic year. The successful candidate will provide culturally-sensitive instruction in the CACREP-accredited core and Clinical Mental Health Counseling specialization areas, demonstrate the ability to engage in an active agenda of scholarly/creative activity (including external funding), and provide service to the department, college, university, community, and profession. The development and maintenance of positive relationships and partnerships with community-based mental and behavioral health organizations and/or school districts is expected. UNO is a vibrant, metropolitan university in the state’s largest city Omaha with an enrollment of approximately 15,000 students.
