Job Summary

University of Kentucky: Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at Extended Campus Program in Paducah, KY.


The Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the University of Kentucky invites applications for a tenure-eligible, 9-month appointment (Special Title Series) faculty position in chemical engineering at the extended campus in Paducah, KY. The special title series is a teaching focused position with anticipated responsibilities of 70% teaching and 30% split between research, scholarly activities, and service.

Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in chemical engineering with the capability to teach across the entire chemical engineering undergraduate curriculum. Individuals should have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate education, and the motivation to sustain a program of independent scholarship through innovative educational activities, the direction of undergraduate research and other independent and collaborative research endeavors. Research collaborations with local industry and faculty on the Lexington campus are encouraged.
