The Department of Engineering and Physics at Bridgewater College invites applications from candidates with expertise in mechanical engineering for a tenure-track faculty position.  We seek candidates who are engaged teacher-scholars and have a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates in an engineering program at a liberal arts college.  The position will involve teaching courses at all levels of an undergraduate engineering curriculum in our newly developed Engineering major.  Candidates who are interested in developing engineering and mechatronics lab courses and assisting with overall program development are especially encouraged to apply.

QUALIFICATIONS: A PhD in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or other closely related field is preferred. Exceptional ABD or MS candidates with teaching or industry experience will also be considered for this position at ranks appropriate to experience.

Pay is competitive, and salary is commensurate with experience. This full-time position offers a full benefits package, including paid tuition at the College for eligible dependents.
