Repetitive motion. Job-related travel. Standing or walking with objects up to 10lbs. Lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 50lbs.
Shift
Days with afternoons and evenings Monday-Friday, sometimes to include weekends depending on athletic schedules for sports covered.
Job Summary
The Athletic Trainer’s primary job responsibility is to provide injury assessment, rehabilitation and prevention to student-athletes at assigned contracted schools. Game and event coverage will be required as assigned, and travel is required.
This position will also be involved in education of coaches, parents, and athletes pertaining to pertinent sports medicine topics. Athletic trainer will maintain close communication with coaches, athletic directors, physicians and other medical professionals.
