Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.



Job Summary

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

Responsible for capture of technical charges in hospital-based clinics in the Markey Cancer Center. Provide financial analysis through collection of co-pays, revenue errors and open encounters. Manage billing denials and edits.

Work as a liaison between clinic managers, revenue management, patient accounts and KMSF regarding financial analysis to determine the best course of action to affect maximum collection of patient’s payment responsibility.

Audit, analyze, and review information regarding the established third party payers regarding denials of insurance reimbursement.



Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Preferred Education/Experience

One year in billing or coding preferred. Certified coder as a CPC-A or higher preferred. EPIC and general coding knowledge, CPC-A or higher preferred.
