Job Summary

The Southwest Tennessee Community College Whitehaven Center is looking for a well motivated student to assist the staff at the Whitehaven Center with basic clerical tasks.

Job Duties

  • Operates office equipment (fax machines, copies, and telephone system)
  • Answers telephones, greets students, and campus visitors
  • Assist faculty, staff, students with making copies, providing information, etc.
  • Internal pick-up and delivery of mail, parcels, etc.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the Center, classrooms, and computer labs
  • Set-up and breakdown of student events and activities (no heavy lifting or moving furniture)
  • Provide clerical support to Student Services (advising, admissions, financial aid, enrollment services, etc.)
  • May perform other duties during registration and class start

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a registered student of Southwest Tennessee Community College.
  • Only students who are approved for Federal Work Study are qualified for this position.
