Job Summary

West Kentucky Community & Technical College (WKCTC), recognized as a top 10 community college in the nation by The Aspen Institute five consecutive times and three times as a Finalist with Distinction, invites applications for the position of Construction Carpentry Adjunct Faculty Pool. Job Duties:

Responsibilities include: teaching; conducting class and community service projects; being involved in curriculum changes; and meeting industry standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

A minimum of an Associate degree and three years’ experience in a construction related position. Must have working experience and knowledge of proper ceiling and roof layout procedures including calculating, cutting and assembly of both common rafters and hip rafters; exterior and interior finish carpentry including installation of siding and cornices, windows, doors, interior surfaces and moldings.

Total compensation is calculated on a per-course basis according to the WKCTC part time faculty salary schedule.
