The School of Business & Professional Studies is currently seeking a dynamic and visionary individual to serve as Academic Dean. This vital role is central to guiding and shaping the future of the School of Business and Professional Studies, with responsibilities that span across faculty development, curriculum management, and student success initiatives.

Position Overview: As the Academic Dean, you will serve as the administrative leader of the School of Business & Professional Studies, overseeing daily operations, faculty recruitment and development, and curriculum planning. Reporting directly to the Provost & Vice President of Academic Affairs, you will play a critical role in aligning the school's mission with institutional goals, ensuring student achievement, promoting faculty excellence, and maintaining accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage faculty recruitment, development, and evaluation.

• Oversee curriculum planning and course scheduling to ensure a high-quality learning experience.

• Promote student success through retention strategies, academic advising, and program marketing.

• Collaborate with faculty on professional development, tenure, and promotion processes.

• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and manage accreditation reviews.

• Develop and manage the school's budget to support program growth and innovation.

• Teach one course per semester as workload permits.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Business Administration.

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in academic leadership, with knowledge of Business, Human Services, Criminal Justice, and related fields as disciplines.
