Job Summary

West Kentucky Community & Technical College (WKCTC), recognized as a top 10 community college in the nation by The Aspen Institute five consecutive times and three times as a Finalist with Distinction, invites applications for the position of Dental Assisting Adjunct Faculty Pool. Job Duties:

Part-time adjunct instructor needed to provide classroom, lab, and/or clinical instruction in the dental assisting program.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree preferred, minimum of Associate’s Degree required.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited dental assisting, dental hygiene, or dental program.
- Certification Requirements – Must have current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) and Healthcare Provider Level CPR certification prior to the start date. Preferred experience to include coronal polishing and radiation health and safety certifications.

Total compensation is calculated on a per-course basis according to the WKCTC part time faculty salary schedule. 

Preferred Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience is preferred.

Additional Skills Requested:

Additional duties include maintaining laboratory supplies; maintaining safety, HIPPA compliance and OSHA updates for dental clinic; maintaining accreditation standards; and some administrative duties.
