Job Summary
UK Turfland General Dentistry Clinic is looking for an individual with strong customer service experience to manage and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of insurance and billing operations. The position requires close collaboration with clinic staff to inform billing and registration teams of any necessary forms or documentation needed for accurate claim submissions. Primary responsibilities include reviewing and verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, obtaining pretreatment estimates and authorizations, and monitoring outstanding patient account balances with proactive efforts to collect past-due amounts. The candidate must respond to internal and external customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner and adhere to protocols for record retention, HIPAA compliance, and patient privacy regulations.
