Job Summary
Big Sandy Community and Technical College is seeking Maintenance Lead to work second shift at our Pikeville campus. This person will be in the lead capacity but not a direct supervisor. They will be able to assign / monitor work to ensure satisfaction of duties.
Job Duties:
- Monitor heating and air conditioning and could change setting on controls to adjust temperature in facilities.
- Performs daily cleaning of classrooms/bathrooms, hallways, and offices such as; dusting, taking out trash, cleaning windows, vacuuming, and keeping the soap and paper towel dispensers full.
- Performs floor maintenance such as; shampooing carpet, sweeping, moping, stripping floors, waxing, and buffing.
- Performs dry walling, painting, installing ceiling tiles, minor plumbing, minor electrical work assemble and deliver furniture, and setup rooms for special events.
- Maintains grounds by mowing, weed-eating, picking up trash, and snow removal.
- Other duties as required
- May have to travel to assist at other campuses as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED and two years related work experienced
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED and three years related work experience.
