Job Summary

Gateway Community and Technical College invites applications for the Part-Time position of Custodian/Maintenance Tech. This part-time position will be responsible for routine maintenance, repairs, and cleanliness of all properties and grounds.

Job Duties:

• Perform general custodial duties utilizing basic equipment and supplies
• Clean assigned facility areas, remove waste,
• Complete daily cleaning of restrooms, classrooms, and offices based on schedule provided by supervisor.
  
• Grounds-keeping
  
• Maintain a safe, clean and pleasant atmosphere for students, faculty, and staff.
  
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Highs School/GED
  
• 6 months related experience
  
• Ability to effectively communicate using auditory and visual methods, ability to distinguish colors, follow written and verbal instructions.
  
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds. Primarily use close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
