Job Summary

The Marielaine Mammon School of Music, Performing Arts, and Music Technologies at the County College of Morris invites applicants for a tenure track appointment in Music Technologies to begin in the Spring of 2024. We seek an energetic colleague with a strong professional record and the ability to teach across the curriculum in Music Technology, with a primary focus in Electronic Music, Music Theory, and Primary Piano (performance level proficiency). Other courses include Contemporary Music, and History of Jazz. Experience and interest in the areas of music composition and performance are desirable.



The primary responsibility of a faculty member at the County College of Morris is to provide quality instruction for students. Assignments may include day or evening courses. Course delivery may include lecture, lecture/lab, hybrid, and/or online. Duties include teaching undergraduate levels of electronic music across the curriculum in an Associates of Science (A.S.) program, curriculum development, advising, and participation in college service. The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency and be able to teach Apple’s Logic Pro and Ableton Live on a Mac platform.

Qualifications - Skills

• Teaching experience in electronic music, music theory, and primary piano or related courses, preferably at the collegiate level.
