Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds, or standing/walking for long periods of time.
Sitting at computer workstation for extended periods.

Shift

7:30-4:30 Monday through Friday / one day per week remote/ occasional nights and weekends required (40 hours per week). Potential in-state travel (not overnight)





Job Summary

The AHEC Program Coordinator works as a vital member of a university and campus team that supports health professions students who are completing clinical rotations in rural and urban underserved communities throughout Kentucky. Additionally, this person will provide support for statewide health workforce pathways programming and assist in the implementation of experiences for health professions students to develop skills necessary to function in interprofessional collaborative health teams.

Microsoft Office; Excel; writing for research abstracts; public speaking.

Bachelor’s degree plus one or more years related experience preferred.
