Job Summary

The Human Resources Partner II serves as a Human Resources Generalist, supporting the Human Resources function for System Office and KCTCS Colleges.

Positions with the KCTCS System Office located in Versailles, KY are term-contract positions, with the expectancy of continuance based on performance.

KCTCS offers a hybrid work schedule with a requirement to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per work week. Hybrid work schedules are subject to periodic review and may be modified or terminated at any time.

Job Duties:

Provide analysis and general support to departments in regard to compensation- such as, reviewing new positions and reclassification requests for System Office and colleges, salary equity checks, and salary survey requests. Document changes using various means of communication.

Assist with system office recruiting and onboarding processes, including but not limited to,
advertising/posting jobs, collecting resumes/applications, reviewing credentials, coordinating search process, and collecting new hire paperwork.

Maintain HRIS System (PeopleSoft), such as performing audits, assisting with testing, making entries, generating reports, and responding to ticket requests.

vide current and prospective employees guidance regarding policies and procedures, background checks, and general employment overviews. Assist with FMLA and leave administration.

Maintain a current organization chart for system office and a system-wide HR dashboard.

Additional duties as assigned within the HR Generalist function.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications or related field and one (1) year of relevant experience or equivalent. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications or related field and two (2) year of relevant experience or equivalent.

Additional Skills Requested:

Prefer SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Certification.
