Must be able to work three 12-hour shifts per week from 7am until 7:30pm, will be required to work some weekends and holidays.



Job Summary

LPN’s on the 7 Main Medical-Surgical /Telemetry unit provide intermediate care for medical surgical patients and adults requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Patient conditions include a wide range of medical conditions and recovery from surgical procedures which may or may not require telemetry monitoring. RNs may be required to work on other telemetry units as needed.
As a part of this unit, the LPN serves as an important component of the team. This team is responsible for the bedside care of ill adults who require constant observation, timely interventions, and/or specialized monitoring.

The LPN is a member of the multidisciplinary ambulatory team who is responsible for patient care, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes. The LPN performs the duties for which they are trained such as starting IVs, simple wound dressings, and notifying the RN or LIP with any changes or abnormalities in the patients condition.
