Job Summary

The M&O Office of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an opening for a full-time M&O Assistant Supervisor for the extended campuses of Jefferson Community and Technical College. The extended campuses include Southwest, Shelby, Bullitt and Carrollton campuses.

Job Duties:

Duties include managing and establishing work priorities for M&O staff at the extended campuses, overseeing facilities operations on the extended campuses, managing emergency response for campuses in case of inclement weather, power outage, flooding, etc. and representing JCTC in dealing with contractors, facility inspectors, and KCTCS administrators. Other duties may include assisting in planning projects that will affect extended campuses of JCTC.

Essential Functions:
Positions related to monitoring facilities, safety, operational needs, and the planning/development of institutional objectives.

1. Manages staff and provides training for maintenance on extended campus facilities.
2. Ensures staff and facilities users adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
3. Collaborate with leadership on the budgeting for facilities' needs.

Manage, organize, coordinate, and perform activities that support the institution’s facilities operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School/GED, and six years related experience, or equivalent. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to individuals with experience in HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry or Electrical and supervisory experience.
