Job Summary

The Medicaid Nurse Aide Department at Jefferson Community and Technical College has openings for MNA adjunct instructors and State Test evaluators.

Job Duties:

The primary responsibility of this position is to teach Medicaid Nurse Aide courses according to all Medicaid guidelines at the Carrollton, Southwest, and Technical campuses. Additionally, this person will become a trained state test evaluator.

Please note that this is an adjunct pool. We will only contact applicants as needed for classes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (Associate level or higher) who has a current license in Kentucky or a current license in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state and has a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an RN, with at least one (1) year of full-time experience in the provision of long-term care services. Recent experience with teaching MNA courses required. Must have completed an approved Methods of Instructions (MOI) course and be listed on the KCTCS Nurse Registry. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in, and understanding of the importance of, working with students from diverse backgrounds required.
