Job Summary

The National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) Lead will work in the Kentucky Department for Public Health (KDPH)/Healthcare-Associated Infection/Antibiotic Resistance (HAI/AR) Prevention Program. This position will be the liaison to the HAI/AR Program, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and patient safety partners. This position will increase the use and expertise of NHSN data for public health surveillance, data analysis, and reporting at KDPH.

Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Internet, and National Healthcare Safety Network.

Preferred Education/Experience

Masters degree in public health or science preferred. Certification in infection control and epidemiology (CIC) preferred.
