Required License/Registration/Certification
Registered Nurse (RN) and a national certification to be obtained within 1 year of hire and maintained throughout employment in this job title. This national certification will require approval by nursing leadership.
Physical Requirements
The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50-100 pounds on a daily basis; as well as stand, walk and sit for long periods of time. The conditions of work may involve exposure to communicable diseases and injury from intractable patients or sharp instruments.

Day shift. Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.
Job Summary
The Nurse Clinical Manager will supervise all nursing staff and other clinical support staff functions in the UKHC Transplant Clinic. Ensuring resources are managed appropriately, as well as ensuring quality patient care, are essential job duties for this position. This includes: initiating actions for resolutions, maintaining nursing standards of care and participating in updating policies and procedures related to cancer care. In addition, this position will: be responsible for ensuring adequate nursing staff and clinical support staff are available to care for patients, work with staff to develop schedules and coverage plans, and act as a clinical and systems resource for staff. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
The ideal candidate will be an experienced RN, hold a BSN, and have leadership and management experience in a healthcare setting. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have efficient skills in Microsoft.
