Job Summary

Nursing Instructor to teach the PN (LPN) Program in our Nursing Program on the Cumberland Campus. This is a Full time 10 month defined term contract position.

Job Duties:

Responsible for teaching the PN (LPN) Program in our Nursing Program. Alos, could involve simulation laboratory/clinical and classroom areas with day, night, and/or weekend instruction.
Travel is required frequently to clinical, other campus locations and required meetings. Competence in computer and high fidelity simulation skills is a priority. Computer competence in all electronic communications as well as distance learning is desired . In addition to teaching, faculty members are responsible for professional development, service to the College and participation in institutional assessment. Participation in college and community activities is required. Candidates should be committed to the two-year college mission, with a primary interest in the teaching/learning process as related to the two-year college mission.

Minimum Qualifications:

A BSN with MSN completion agreement. A current unrestricted license to practice nursing in Kentucky is required with two years of experience within the past five years.
