Physical Requirements

The physical requirements for this position include regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with repetitive motion (such as typing); walking including pushing, pulling, and/or lifting up to 10lbs and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects up to 50lbs. The conditions of work may involve regular exposure to loud noises, intermittent exposure to blood borne/airborne pathogens and combative/violent people, and occasional exposure to cuts and punctures.



Shift

Day shift. Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. Other days and hours as needed.



Job Summary

This position enhances a smooth and successful operation of the daily clinic. Requires check in, check out, scheduling patient appointments, answer phones, triage patients to ensure they are connected with the proper staff, cash collections, schedule ancillary services, obtain pre-certs, correct registration of patients into the system, verify insurance and demographic date.

Reconcile end of day process, provide excellent customer service, monitor wait times expectations, resolve patient complaints in an empathetic and timely fashion, provide teamwork and leadership to prevent and resolve service failure.



Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

The ideal candidate will be skilled in communication, specifically in the ability to remain calm and helpful during emotionally stressful moments or crises. As someone responsible for employee records, attention to detail is critical to ensuring patient record accuracy. The ability to work in a collaborative environment with a teamwork mindset. The ability to follow processes and process data entry records. Respect for confidentiality; be able to prioritize tasks efficiently; and work in multiple systems simultaneously.
