Job Summary

The Office of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement (PAE) seeks a qualified individual to serve as the Philanthropy Professional Development Manager. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing a comprehensive program of talent recruiting, professional training and development, retention, and career development for the PAE division. The Philanthropy Professional Development Manager will advance on-boarding activities and targeted training programs — often working in tandem with colleagues in UK’s Human Resources office — to build advancement-specific skills, knowledge, and competencies, and will be responsible for developing new systems, strategies, and policies to increase employee effectiveness and retention through mid-management training, team building activities, advocation of the department’s core values, and selected career planning. This position manages all aspects of HR and payroll for UK PAE, including but not limited to compensation, employment, position description creation and revision, organization management and employment searches for all positions.
