Job Summary

The University of Kentucky Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment is seeking a dynamic Communications/Marketing and Social Media Coordinator, playing a key role in building, supporting and advancing the college’s strategic goals, priorities, messages and brand reputation. The position is instrumental in developing and implementing the college’s overall marketing, communications and social media strategy. The Communications unit is committed to promoting work-life balance by offering hybrid work arrangements that allow for some amount of remote work. • Strong leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
• Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes.
• Superior time management skills and meets deadlines.
• Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience in Drupal and social media platforms
• Experience with Cooperative Extension either as client, volunteer or personnel.
• Excellent writing, editing and design skills.
• Confidence and experience presenting to both large and small audiences
