Job Summary

The Program on Negotiation (PON) at Harvard Law School is seeking a full-time Program Associate to offer administrative support for its executive education offerings. The Program Associate is responsible for assisting the Program Managers to prepare and deliver a diverse range of executive education programs, including one-day, week-long, multi-week, and semester-long courses.  

Position Description

As a ProgramAssociate, you will: 

  • Be responsible for setting up online registration for courses, preparing program certificates, tracking and responding to attendee requests, facilitating virtual events, and preparing emails and surveys.  For in-person events, tasks may include shipping meeting supplies and arranging seating charts. 
  • Assist Program Managers with the preparation of print and/or digital teaching materials for each course and provide on-site course support as needed for each event; assist faculty with presentation materials. 
  • Monitor course registrations, maintain rosters & enrollment reports, and manage waitlists and cancellations. 
  • Assist Program Managers with communications to participants and participate in Zoom orientation sessions for attendees.   
  • Identify problems and troubleshoot when necessary; work with the Customer Service Lead to fulfill customer requests. 
  • Maintain vendor relationships and monitor program inventory. 
  • May occasionally provide additional administrative support for the PON office, including but not limited to managing phone lines/email, organizing the office, ordering supplies, booking meeting rooms, making copies, greeting visitors, etc. 

Basic Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of related experience. Education beyond high school may count toward experience.

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office; experience with Cvent, Canvas, and Word Press, a plus

  • Motivation to take initiative and propose ways to solve problems 
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues for successful project completion 
  • Prior office experience, as well as an interest in the field of negotiation and conflict resolution 

Additional Information

This is a one-year term appointment with potential for renewal, subject to departmental funding and need.
