Job Summary
The Registered Dietitian will function as part of the Markey Cancer Center; the only NCI comprehensive cancer center in the state of Kentucky.
They will work to improve outcomes for patients undergoing cancer treatment and for survivors through comprehensive nutritional status assessments and targeted multi-modality nutrition-based interventions.
This position has broad-ranging responsibilities, working with multidisciplinary clinical teams, clinical research bases, and ancillary support services, to design, apply and evaluate nutrition-based assessments and interventions.
There is opportunity for remote and on-site work. This is an outpatient, Monday through Friday only position. Clinics close on holidays.
There is opportunity to create media content including video and podcasts for the purpose nutrition education.
The starting pay for this position was recently adjusted due to market analysis. The minimum yearly range for this position will now be $48,360-$81,328/year. All pay rates will be based on candidate’s experience.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
MS Windows, EMR, Excel, medical terminology, clinical nutrition in an oncology setting, and data analysis.

Preferred Education/Experience
Master’s degree and 3 years of experience preferred.
