Job Summary
The Markey Cancer Center’s (MCC) Biospecimen & Translational Pathology Shared Resource (BPTP-SRF) is seeking a Research Program Manager. This position will provide daily oversight to BPTP’s biospecimen laboratory, coordinating staff and ensuring coverage of services. Will train biobank staff on study protocols and proper use of databases. Will report to Program administrator, assisting in development of new processes, writing SOPs, providing feedback to address any deficiencies in operations, staffing, or facilities. Ensures biobank facility is maintained per College of American Pathologist guidelines and that staff adhere to study protocols, maintain regulatory compliance, and good clinical practices. Will perform lab processing and data entry as needed, to ensure full support of Markey research. Other duties as assigned.
The work arrangement for this position will be fully onsite.
