Job Summary

The Department of Toxicology and Cancer Biology is looking to hire a Scientist I level position to work in the lab of Dr. Xiaoqi Liu. A successful candidate will have several years of laboratory experience.

This position will work with Dr. Liu on conducting and analyzing research data. Specifically, the candidate should have 4-5 years post-doctoral research experience on prostate cancer biology, especially mechanisms of drug resistance.

The candidate is also expected to be familiar with genome wide CRISPR-Cas9 screen to identify new targets whose expression affects the efficacy of therapy. The candidate will also perform extensive cell biology and molecular biology experiments on the daily basis. The candidate is expected to have prior experience with both genetically engineered mice and patient-derived xenograft models.
