Shift
Front Desk Attendants can expect to work between five and ten hours per week based on their availability and the needs of tutees. Attendants’ schedules are determined at the beginning of each semester and will not change from week to week. Shifts will be between two and five hours long (again based on availability and student need) and will take place between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM Monday through Thursday. This position is for the Fall 2024 Semester.
Job Summary
Open/set up or close/shut down the eStudio operation (Tutors will always be present in the eStudio during working hours).
Monitor front desk traffic.
Welcome, check in, and direct incoming students to appropriate tutor in the eStudio.
Notify appropriate tutor of each student who needs assistance.
Have exiting students fill out short survey on their experience.
Inform students of all available eStudio tutoring hours (by major or by subject).
Refer students to other campus tutoring offices as needed.
