Job Summary

The University of Kentucky Office of Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement (PAE) is seeking a Tech Support Specialist III who will be responsible for designing and developing Tableau reports and dashboards based on PAE requirements, creating front-end reporting solutions to effectively visualize financial data. This role involves collaborating with PAE stakeholders to gather report specifications, ensuring data accuracy, and optimizing Tableau visualizations for usability, performance, and aesthetics. Key responsibilities include conducting quality assurance testing on Tableau reports, providing support and training to PAE users on Tableau best practices, and developing reports using Salesforce (RADAR), Crystal Reports, SQL, Excel, and other tools. Additional duties involve performing data validation, documenting processes, building dashboards to ensure data quality, and summarizing variances in data with recommendations for improvement. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to independently identify problems and analyze multiple data sources. Proven success in collaborating with teams is required. This position does report in-person at the Alexandria Drive, Lexington KY address.
