Job Summary

Supervises the operation of the Tutoring Center. Oversees the development, implementation, and evaluation of activities related to utilization of the Tutoring Center including online tutoring and the center’s management and tracking software. Manages all matters related to staffing including ongoing training to the faculty, and supervision and training to staff and student aides. Responsible for evaluating the department’s outcomes and assessment data collection and reporting process. Determines annual and ongoing priorities within the department by planning, developing, implementing, and assessing programs and services. Monitors expenditures in all accounts and prepares the annual operating budget. Monitors online tutoring and center’s web Establishes, maintains, and ensures adherence to all policies and procedures. Assumes other duties as assigned by the Dean of Health Professions and Natural Sciences.



Qualifications - Education

Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Associate’s Degree required.



Qualifications - Experience

Minimum of two years experience in Higher Education; experience with computers and software applications.



Qualifications - Skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook); Learning Management Systems (e.g. Blackboard); Software Systems used in Higher Education Management.
Strong organizational skills, ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
Ability to manage budgets and financial records management
Ability to work independently, show initiative and exercise sound judgment in performance of assigned duties
Excellent oral and written communication skills

M-F 8:30-4:30
